The 28-year-old Frenchman edged out global stars in voting conducted by national team captains, coaches, journalists, and fans worldwide. His recognition comes alongside individual honors as Best Player in Ligue 1 and the Champions League, underscoring his pivotal role in Luis Enrique’s treble-chasing side.

PSG teammate Gianluigi Donnarumma was awarded Best Goalkeeper before his summer transfer to Manchester City. Meanwhile, Barcelona’s Raphinha, despite a stellar treble-winning campaign with 38 goals and 24 assists, was a surprise omission from the FIFPRO World 11.
